Hi,
   My lawyers checked on my case and the IIO said "My case is on it\'s way to an officer"... Now what does this actually mean and how does it translate into number of days that I need to wait more?

Anyone has any info/thoughts on this?

Yesterday I spoke with an IIO and she said my case was not assigned to an officer but should be assigned very soon. I asked how much longer it should take and she couldn\'t give me an answer. I think the IIO doesn\'t have a clue when a case to be assigned. However, she was very nice.

I have faxed letters to TSC many times (no responses!). I have sent faxs to senator and congressman. My attorney said they\'d send a fax to them. I plan to give them a call once a week. Other than these, I don\'t know what else I can do. Just keep our fingers crossed.
 
How long after being assigned??

I talked to IIO yesterday and heard that my case has been assigned to an officer on Jan 7th. How long is it taking these to get approved after being assigned to an officer??
