totally agree
You're right. I saw no approvals of concurrent filers
since 2 weeks at the TSC, but at NSC cases
filed as late as 10/03 are getting approved.
Happy for them, but feel soooo P.. o...,
what happened with TSC ?
Sleeping beauty returned to its deepest sleep...
Or may be it's something else ?
- is it that all our files, those filed sometime between 2/03-5/03
were in the batch transferred by mistake from TSC
to local district offices, and they are waiting to get
them back ???
(I do not even want to think about it)
-or better: was our file in the batch that got
destroyed by the overworked CIS adjudicator
some time ago at the TSC ? Who knows....
GWB told us: "we welcome immigrants".
Yeah, right !
But... yes, of course, no kidding: we are
working really hard, often harder than Americans,
stay with same employer during H1B and then LC and
then AOS, which can take 6 years, and can be
kept at a lowest possible pay rate, without possibility
of promotion during that time, and can be terminated
at any time by our employers. In addition, we
provide jobs to adjudicators and other officials
at all levels with our fees (the more you have to file
and renew, the more you pay), we
contribute with our fees to law reinforcement
(our filing fees are mainly used by ICE, only a little
part goes for processing of our files), we help homeland
security to improve facilities and
computer systems with our feed (they also take a cut),
and so on.
Bottom line:
Everyone in this chain, except the prospective
immigrant, profit from this backlog. Just too good.
So, sure we ARE welcome, but do we FEEL welcome ?
Folks, unfortunately, the truth is that nobody care
about this.
So, let's continue to hope, and hope, and hope again,
day after day, that some time, in future, may be a month ?,
or a year or so ?, or may be more ?, we will get some kind of
response from CIS, thankfully, to our pending I140/485 cases,
so we can also enjoy a piece of freedom.
Good luck to all !
