TSC IIO\'s provide false info

Folks,

I think TSC IIO\'s are bullshitting.
My I-485 cases (me & my wife) are very old case & I have been
contacting IIO\'s periodically to get status updates.

My cases were filed with TSC in 1/2000. Its been over 2 years.

Here\'s a summary of what I\'ve been told recently:

Date Info Given
----------------------
1/09/02 2nd FP\'s good. TSC working on 7/99 so I must wait.
-------------------------------------------------------------
2/06/02 Cases will be pulled & sent to a supervisor as they
are older than TSC official processing date of 3/2000.
-------------------------------------------------------------
3/20/02 Both cases have been moved to a workstation but haven\'t
been assigned to an officer yet.
-------------------------------------------------------------
4/10/02 Both cases have been assigned to an officer & decisions
should be made in a week or two.
-------------------------------------------------------------
4/24/02 My case is at a workstation but not assigned to an
officer yet. My wife\'s case is still pending & not
               even at a workstation.

The last response puts me right back to where things were 4 months
ago (maybe 2 years ago). I don\'t know what to believe.
Did anyone else have similar scary experience?

I think the IIO\'s are bullshitting each time based on the
recorded info from the previous call notes.

Believing the misleading information from the IIO\'s I haven\'t
contacted a congressman/senator. But I guess I\'ve learnt my
lesson & that seems to be my only choice.

Regards,
Sudheer

I think you should do something different. Send letter to state senator/congrassman/INS director ...

It\'s no point we talking to them

Even I am in the same situation as your\'s. My ND - 01/06/2000, I did my 2nd FP on 12/11/2001 & RFE was replied on 03/12/2002. My case is still pending. I contacted congress men even they can\'t give me an answer. The IIO\'s don\'t even talk to me they say it takes some more time. Instead of giving you a correct picture they just want to get rid of you.

I made it a point not to talk to them, and let my attorney do the talking.
