TSC I-485 Tracker and Discussions

From discussion forums and trackers,
TSC processed 49 I-485 cases in April, 22 cases in May. For May, 9 cases in early May, 9 cases in middle May, and 4 cases in late May.
Thus TSC operated in less than half capacity in May than that in April. Also the process further slowed down in late May. So far we have only seen one approval for the first week of June.
It is hard to know what is really going on in TSC. Hope from this week TSC can speed up.

What do you think the actual TOTAL numbers are for TSC?? Acoording to their Processing Times in April \'02 cases pending were reduced by 1482 and by 976 in May \'02. So they processed 30% fewer cases in May than in April. Would we deduct the # of cases filed to get actual number of cases processed? ?

Pending cases by months end:
Case, Feb/Mar/Apr/May 2002
I-140: 7073/2325/3465/7208
I-485: 43161/45705/44223/43247
I think for those approved I-140 cases in certain months, excluding CP filers, half of the rest might file I-485 in the same month, half might file in the following month.
The largest I-140 reduction happened in march (My 140 was approved in March and I know TSC processed at least twice faster than that in the second record month). We can see some I-485 increase in March, but reduction in April, which meant TSC processed lots of I-485 cases in April. From April, I-140 processing slowed down, and in May it slowed down even further. Cases for I-140 increased near 4000 in May. This indicates there were much less I-485 filers in May.
Lets see what will happen in June. At least until now, for I-485, TSC is still almost in standstill.

My I-140 case was approved but I came to know today only. It was approved on June 7, 2002 after waiting around 16 months.
I will write couple of messages to get suggestions from you.
I think you have done FP so your case must be approved soon.
