Receipt indicated a wait of 270-365 days. Waited 369 days. Changed Jobs, worked on EAD used AC-21, changed address.

The most important thing is:
1. Keep your address current - file ar-11. Change of address will not move the paper work from location to location within the same stage.
2. If you are using ac-21 and portability, you will have to do the same nature of the job. So, if 4 years ago, you were a COBOL expert, you will have to continue to be a COBOL expert at the time the GC is issued - if an RFE is raised. You can do 2 jobs, but one of them has to be as COBOL expert and must be a signifiant source of income (40%+). Now, significance is at the discretion of INS.
3. Once the wait period has expired, do a weekly check on the status of your SRC. Work the system. Send them a FAX reminder, send the self addressed enquiry G-731x form and follow up with a phone call. Make sure you follow the stipulated wait periods.

All the best.
Finally, TSC published dates were out of whack (thank you) or I would be waiting for another 450 days.

Congratulations!! Regarding (2), AC21 specifies the similar job

but they didn\'t mention similar technologies, for example some languages/packages may vanish and some news ones will be created irrespective of our I-485. Our employer may ask us change the entire technology from Main frame to Web. Personally I didn\'t see any reason to continue same technology until your GC approved. Can you give us some explanation on this??

What is the ar-11 you are talking about.

I live in NC and am with TSC and need to change address, how should I do it.
THANKS
