Folks:
The enormous delay and FP screw-up at TSC has to be heard.
What if we all send notes/emails and flood the mailboxes at crossfire (cnn), Bill O'Reilly (fox news), Hardball (msnbc).
These guys may sound anti-immigrants but we have a chance to be heard as we are not illegals!
what say the forum?

INS is aware of the delays. In fact, they released the following report last week:
http://www.ins.gov/graphics/aboutins/statistics/msrsep02/BENEFIT.HTM

www.Immigration-Law.com reports, "This statistical report pictures only a negative news for immigrant community. Applications and petitions for immigration benefits in September 2002 decreased 13 percent compared to the number received in September 2001. September approvals were down 17 percent, while denials increased by 40 percent when compared to September 2001. Additionally, the number of pending benefit applications/petitions increased approximately 346,000 as a result of the inventory. It is disturbing in that there were more denials and despite the reduced caseloads, backlog increased. Without doubt, these statistics including recent issuance of increased number of RFEs reflect the agency's focus on increased scrutiny of cases for violation of status at the sacrifice of processing times and reduction of backlog. Now people will understand why their cases have been experiencing such a delay in recent months!"

I don't believe the media will care about this either.

Hi bajis

Hi Bajis,

A few days back .. I asked you something about switching from EAD to H1B...

Anxiously waiting for the answer of the question...

Hi bajis

If it is then I want to talk to my employer regarding it...

waiting for your reply...

Hi faitas,

After I posted that message, I got to some serious thinking. On second thoughts, I am not so sure about the implications of shifting from EAD to H1B. I mailed my lawyer and am waiting for an answer. I'll post again if I hear anything.

Good luck.
