TSC - CP case - notice received - has to resubmit I-89

I have been waiting for plastic cards for me and my wife. We had our CP in July 2001, and entered in Houston in the same month.

I was able to get through to an operator today at TSC. I was told that they sent a notice last week for us to go to the Houston local INS office to have our I-89 refiled.

Has anyone received such notice before?

POE LAX?

Did anone complete CP and entered through LAX? I wanted to know if anybody has recieved the plastic cards with LAX as POE?
