My application was approved according to Automatic Voice Response sytem, here is my info:

EB3, Labor pert, I-140 process

I-485 dates
ND Dec 5, 1999
RD Jan 7, 2000
FP Mar 13, 2000
AD Apr 5, 2000

SC 00-069-xxxxx

Countries, Others/Hong Kong,
(still not clear if they count Hong Kong against China quota, but it does not matter so much now)

Have not got the official notice yet, I will post my Passport stamping experience later on.

Question related to social benefit

Does anyone has the experience of using the social benefit for child birth. I used the "Emergency Care" when my son was born to cover the hospital and deliver cost. Will this result a 485 application rejection?

Hong Kong is so far still considered separated from China in the PR process. therefore, if u apply for 485, make sure u put your birth place hk.

LC was approved Jun 99,

They started advistising my position in Dec 98,
Forwarded to Department of Labor on Mar 99.
