I have been on H1B since October 2000 and my wife on H4. I got my H1B renewed from Oct 2003 to oct 2006. Meanwhile, my wife applied for a H1B in Aug 2004 and the application (lawyer) requested H1B until Dec 2006, since my wife was in India for 2 + months during 2002.
She got the approval only until Aug 2005. We looked at the application and this date is not mentioned anywhere. Why would this happen? Did anyone experience this situation? Does she have to apply for a renewal ?
