Trip to Europe with RTD, Do I need a visa?

Please help....I hold a RTD and want to go to Europe next year for tourism. If I enter through Germany, do I automatically have acces to other Schengen countries or do I need to ask for a visa for one of those countries? I have no idea how it works. Your ideas, suggestions and past experiences are welcome.
 
If you hold RTD you can go to Germany without a Visa. The rest of the countries are a risk of they check your document sor not. I traveled from Austira to Germany with Train and they did not even check anything besides my ticket.
But the cost of a Visa is $40. I wouldn't bother to pay and trave without stress.
