Travelling without 485 approval notice

Hi Guys- I recently had an interview for my 485 application in San Diego, and it was approved and my passport was stamped for I551. But I did not receive any 485 approval notice from them. I'm thinking of travelling to India pretty soon, would I need the 485 approval notice also when I enter inside, or is the stamp enough? My Advance Parole has also expired.

Also, my passport is expiring in 3 months. Will this create any problem?

Will I be getting an approval notice at a later date or should I contact the local office here or something? The status in website shows 'application transfered to San Diego, CA. Please contact the local office for appointment, etc...'
(Just checking as people who have the stamping also have the notice normally)

Regarding the passport, I hope it is not required it should be valid for atleast 6 months while entering US, right? I've not applied for a new passport yet.
