My problem: I am transferring to a new company based on the new portability law (allowing me to start working before my H1B is approved). However, I am supposed to fly out of the country in April for a few days. There\'s no guarantee that the new visa will come by that time. Anybody knows how to deal with this situation? Is there a way for me to get some sort of advanced parole?
