Hey guys,
I entered the US as a F1 student and maintained status. I received OPT wowrk authorization which expired in August. I did not go back to school in September but i filed an adjustment of status in October and i received EAD card and Advance Parole. Does this mean i am unlawful in the United States? I was not out of status for 180 days. Will this be a problem when returning to the US on the Advance Parole?
Also, does anyway have any experience travelling from Jamaica with Advance Parole, do they identify this document at the airport?
My F1 visa is expired.
