Travelling to India - Transit Visa

Hi Friends,

I am on H1 visa and my wife on Advance Parole. Do we both need transit visas if we want to travel from Washington DC - Hyderabad via London, Paris or Frankfurt.

Is there any airlines which exempt these things. Different people and different travel agents are giving different responses.
