Travelling to India; have visa & OCI approval

Hello,
I am going to India next week. My OCI documents were received in Washington 3 weeks ago, but I plan on sending the passport to the DC embassy after my return from India.

I have a valid 10yr Indian Tourist visa. Will there be any problem upon my arrival in India? Would they hassle me just because I did not promptly get the OCI stamp?

Just curious.

Nope you shouldn't have any problems. You can get your passport stamped with the OCI when you come back or it may even be possible to get it done while you are in India (but I am not sure how that works if the documents have already been received in DC).
