Travelling Overseas during H1 processing period

Hi,

I am L1B visa working in US now for company A. I am planning to apply for H1B visa through company B in April 2007. During the month of May 2007, I may travel to India and come back to US by June 2007.
Will that affect my processing of H1 B visa anyway?

H1B processing - No
But if you applied for COS and its in pending status while you travel to india, then your COS will be denied and not your H1B.
