Travelling on H-1B after concurrent filing and applying for EAD and AP

I am planning on travelling home after applying for EAD and AP as well as filing concurrently for I-140 and I-485. My H-1B is valid till Feb 8 2008.

Is it ok to travel on my H-1b status before my I-485 and/or AP is approved? Will I be considered abandonning my I-485 if I leave without obtaining AP? Since I have to provide my latest I-94 number on my I-485 application, will there be a problem if on my return, I get a new I-94 with a new I-94 number? Should I expect any other problems?

Yes, no issues.

No, you will be travelling on H1, so no issues.

You have to provide the latest I-94 number AT the time of filing I-485. Siince I-485 is already filed, there is no problem with getting a new I-94. You arfe not expected to stick with the same I-94 until the end of I-485.

OK Thanks. Maybe I was worrying about nothing then! If my H-1B is about to end soon, will they give me trouble for travelling?
