Hi Guys,

Our interview is scheduled on oct 28th and we have to attend marriage of a close relative on oct 30th. The marriage is in canada.

I am planning to fly after the interview, the interview is scheduled around 2-3 pm and i am planning to fly on same day around 8.

My canadian visa is expiring 20th octber and i am planning to get is stamped again.

1. What do you guys think can be complications?

2. If I don't get approved on same day, our current status don't get affected?

3. If I am outside the country while my I-485 gets approved, what kind of problems I am in?

4. If I get approved, can I travel to canada on stamped passport, without actual card?

5. Anything else that can make our entry to usa problemetic?

Thanks

1. What do you guys think can be complications?
>> Not a complication as such, but you have to be aware that if for some reason they do not approve and stamp (security clearance not received or some other) the passport, you will need an AP to reenter.

2. If I don't get approved on same day, our current status don't get affected?
>> Yes, status does not get affected.

3. If I am outside the country while my I-485 gets approved, what kind of problems I am in?
>> As I said, you will need AP and you will be able to enter even if I-485 is approved while you are out.

4. If I get approved, can I travel to canada on stamped passport, without actual card?
>> Yes

5. Anything else that can make our entry to usa problemetic?
>> Can't thinkof anything. But you will either need stamped visa or AP to enter.

thanks

Thansk sertra2002,

I have both AP and H1 stamped. But I am always using H1 to reenter...

So that's relieving...

Anyways, I am going to ask same questions to the interviewing officer too and post his feedback.

Thanks
