Hi folks -

Wanted to know if there are any concerns or risks for travelling overseas after filing N400. My job takes me to Canada, China, etc once a month and I'd like to figure out if there are any risks post filing N400.

thanks. JP.

Absolutely none. make sure to inform the interviewing officer of any new travels undertaken after filing N-400.

Good advice, but also keep copies of your airline tkt and boarding passes. The IO will be very happy & pleased at the time of the interview if you have proof of your departure/arrival record.

no issues if you travel less than 6 months. Keep every travel tickets, boarding passes, and copies of your passport where every entry of usa is indicated. also, show the letter if necessary. Please make sure to inform the IO. If you don't' inform them, you will be de-naturalized eventually.

Once a month, for how long each month? If you're spending the entire month in Canada except for 1 weekend in the US, and keep on doing that throughout the months during your N-400 process, that could put you in a bit of trouble as far as continuous residence in concerned. Doesn't mean you'll be denied, it just means you'd be risking denial if you get an unfriendly interviewer, and you'll have a bigger burden of proof than people who don't travel so much.
