Travelling CANADA with naturalized certificate - Without Passport

I have my citizenship interview/oath on November 9, 2005. I have to travel to Canada on November 10 for social commitment.

My Indian passport will not be valid after I take the oath and also I will not have PR/green card as INS will take my card.
My question is:
1. Can I travelled to Canada with the naturalized certificate?
2. Will I have problem entering USA back from Canada?

Please advice.

1. YES.
2. NO.

If your local DO offers the same day oath, then you may take the oath on the same day if your file is complete and approved. Keep in mind depending on the time of your interview that may get postponed to next day or a few days later. There is a chance that you may have to travel to Canada with green card/old passport.
