Hi,

My H1-B transfer is approved last week. I shall soon get the notice with new I-94.

Now, as i'm willing to visit outside of USA, do i need to get NEW STAMP to re-enter the USA or the OLD STAMP (which is valit till 2009) is good enough with employee's letter?

Please advise on this.
Thanks!!!

If you've got the H1 Transfer Approved (ie the approved I 797), you can safely enter the United States on the Old company's stamp provided it has not expired (do NOT forget to carry the I-797 with you. You will need to show it to the CBP officer at the port of entry)

The immigration officer might ask you to show any proof of the new company employment, in which case it would be prudent to carry the offer letter from the new company with u

As Balrog1978 mentioned, I would like to add that please staple the new I-94 (if you travel after you receive the new approval notice) along with the existing one on your passport.
