Hello,
I would like to know if I can travel abroad while my H1-B approval is pending. Currently I am on OPT status which expires Dec. 2007. Since my job involves international travel, the company decided to apply for Consular Processing (CP) instead of AOS. They told me that this way I can travel with no restrictions this year using my valid F-1 visa, valid I-20 and valid EAD card. However, I am not sure if this is a true fact. I remember when I was in school the Center for International Students always mentioned that is not recommended to travel while your H-1B application is pending. I have an international trip scheduled for next month, and I am afraid that I will get in trouble when trying to re-enter the US.
