Is there any risk in travellin g to india on advance parole when 485 is pending. please let me know. someone told me that if 485 is approved when i am in india, it could cause issues... is this true ?

Nope - there are no risks as long as you return back to the US before your AP expires

Nothing happens if your 485 gets approved when you are gone -- AP specifically covers this situation (you'll get deferred inspection on re-entry).
