Travelling abraod while N400 in progress

Is it ok to travel while N400 is in progress? I recently applied and I need to travel abroad urgently.

What are the issues related to this?

Yes, you are allowed to travel abroad while N-400 is pending. However, the continuous residency requirement has to be satisfied all the way up to the naturalization oath date. So extended travel after filing N-400 (e.g. a trip that lasts several months) might cause problems with continuous residency. Short-term travel should not be a problem, except that you might miss the interview or the oath.
