I will travelling to india sometime in october or novermber depending on the interview. I am sure my fellow CPers will be in the similar process.

so I am wondering if you guys know any traveler agent who can get us the tickets for better rates. I am not suggesting to travel in group but only looking for a better deal.

I have already bought tickets from her for my wife and got a good deal and very prompt about returning calls and adviced me on various flight options.

You can try Thomas Cook (www.thomascook.co.in) . They can get you a better rate for air tickets.

You can also check the local airline website. Also Sahara airline had some deal going on where you could get 6 tickets for about $599.

I think you are talking about domestic flight tkts. He wants tkts. to India from US.
 
True..if i could get 6 tickets for $599 from usa to india i would be flying every other weekend.

Try makemytrip.com...a little pricy but you can use the e-ticket as opposed to waiting for the traditional ticket.
