Traveling while waiting for oath?

Please, can anyone tell me if I can travel after citizenship interview. I have completed my interview and still waiting for my oath. Is it ok to travel? I am aware of the fact that questionnaire at the oath ceremony asks if you have left the U.S. between attending the interview and oath ceremony. Thanks.

You should be able to travel as long as you meet the other physical residency requirements. Take note that you are still bound by the travel laws and guidelines for permanent residents. Also, you might want to have someone check your mail while you're out of the country, just in case you receive something from BCIS during that time.

What is your timeline , which date you had interview, which state are you in

You may stay outside USA less than 6 months while waiting for Oath ceremony

good luck

Mariahoneyy,

I am in Maryland. My timeline:

Priority Date: Nov 2002
FP: Dec 2002
Interview: April 2002
Oath: ??

As I am also doing a name change it might take a little longer I guess. The officer at the interview said that I should hear back regarding oath within 1-3 months.

Thanks.

hi all

I need your help regarding this matter, please response everyone.

On N-400, one question was "Have you ever been arrested, cited or detained by law enforcement officer for any reason?"

How many forum members mention the "Minor Traffic Ticket" such as REd light cross, speeding ticket, no right turn" ?

please response everyone in this forum.

thank you for your response ,
