I have to go to India for family emergency on Feb 3. My H1/I94 has been expired on January 27. I have filed for H1-Extention on January 11 but
it has not approved yet.
I am 5 months into I-485 and have EAD and Advace Parole. I have not used EAD since my H1-Extension is already been filed.
==> Since my EAD is not activated yet and H1 may not have approved by then, what should I do to get back into US safely?? Do I need to switch to EAD before leaving US?? What are my options / Risks??
