Can anyone shed somelight on this:
I am currently in 7th year extension, which is valid until some time Nov. 2006.
Paperwork is being done to apply for 8th year extension and will be turned in for extension as soon as my current visa expiry is within 6 months from exipry date.
Question is, if I travel to India after 8th year extension is applied for, will it impact my status. As when I return in two weeks my I94 number will be different, than the one which would be submitted with extension application (that would be I94 number on my current I94). Extension would have perforated I94 number which will matcch my current I94, which would be taken away when I lweave the country.
Any help will be appreciated.
