Traveling to Europe on Official visit while I-485 is being filed. Need URGENT advice

My situation here is that I am on H-1B visa which is valid till Jun, 2008. My labor with EB2 is already approved and Priority Date is April 29, 2006. My I-140 was filed around 7 months ago and it is currently being adjudicated. My company is now going to file premium processing for I-140 and also preparing to file I-485 during the month of July.

My questions are:-

1. I need to travel to Europe for official purpose during July while my lawyer is preparing to file I-485 for me at the same time. Is it possible to file I-485 while I am not in USA? Does that matter?
2. Should I first file I-485 and then go on my official visit to Europe. Please advice if I file I-485 first then do I also need to wait for its receipt to come before I should travel outside USA?
3. Or should I file I-485 after I come back to USA by the last week of July?
4. Can I travel outside USA using my H-1B after filing I-485? Don’t I need Advance Parole for traveling outside after my I-485 is filed?

Which option is the safest and complies with immigration law and does not jeopardize my GC? Please advice URGENTLY. I appreciate all your help in this matter.
