Traveling to Canada!

I know this topic has been discussed before, but I can not find answers to my questions.

I live in Kansas in the middle of nowhere and I can not go to apply for the visa in person. I am planning to go to Canada for vacations.

Can I send my application by mail to the Canadian embassy?

I have to send the RTD? I guess :p

How long it takes to get the visa?

Do I need to send an invitation letter?

cALL THE CANADIAN EMBASSY. THEY WILL TELL U EXACTLY WHAT TO DO. BUT I GUARANTEE THAT U WILL HAVE TO BE PERSONALLY INTERVIEWED

I thought there was no need for a visa for Canada if you have a GC?

Then I guess you will have to call the Embassy find out. There is always a set of instructions with the visa application forms. You can ask them to send you the form by mail. After you mail the form back, if they need you to appear personally they will let you know.
