Traveling outside the US with F-1 and EAD status

I\'m currently on F-1 and have applied for EAD. Would it be an issue to travel outside the US (to UK on holiday) after I get the EAD, i.e., on F1 status and with valid EAD card but before starting my job. Can there be a possibility that I may be refused entry into US when I return? Are there many people who do this? I do have a job offer letter for a date immediately after I return from the holiday. Would that help?

Did you eventually traveled outside the States and be able to re-enter the States with your EAD and offer letter?

I am having a similar situation which you had before and have to decide whether or not to leave the States.
