traveling on "valid" AP while I130 just denied

my 130 was denied 3 days ago. We will be appealing, but I know it takes 2-3 years to get case in front of the judge. I have AP that does not expire until next year; I have 28 more days to appeal.

2 questions:

1) how risky is it to travel home (Europe) right now (next week?) for a week or two of "vacations" to see family (my understanding is that once appealed I cannot travel)
2) once appealed is it true I cannot travel at all even on AP (should I return that AP since my I130 is denied?)

I'm not sure about 130, but if 485 is denied both AP and EAD are REVOKED. So personally I wouldn't be traveling: they have info in systems and you can be turned back on border.

BTW, sorry to hear about the denial!
