Traveling on AP, plz advise

I'm a little confused. I'm about to travel to may home country on AP while FBI name check is pending. I have a few questions to those who traveled bofore...
My passport's last name doesn't match last name on AP (after I got married I changed my last name), I'm planning to change it in my home country. But would it be a problem when I leave the country? What name should I have on my tickets?
I read about transit visas on this forum....I'm going through Vienna and coming back through Frankfurt. Do I need a transit visa?
Please help, I'm not sure what to do....and my trip is in 2 weeks.
 
I just booked a trip for my wife and I used her maiden name since that is what is on her passport and I didn't want her to have any problems with the airline. And I know that the POE officers will have her maiden name and married name in their computers so I am not worried about them. I will also send with her a certified copy of our marriage certificate though just in case.
