Traveling on Advance Parole

If anyone traveled using Advance Parole recently - can you tell me if the immigration officer asked to see EAD??

You see, I and my EAD got misplaced somehow. I had gotten it from the Missouri service center and it expires in Dec 2003. So I need to get it replaced. Can I get it replaced through any INS office or should I go back to the MISSOURI office? Also how difficult is it to get it replaced? Thank you so much.

My family and I just returned from a vacation in switzerand and we travelled on AP. On return at SFO, they just asked for the original Ap's. No EAD cards were asked from us. The process was smooth, though time taking. The immigration officer at the booth entered/checkd something on his computer and then asked us to go to the Secondary INS room. There, another officer took our passports ans the AP's, and stamped them. No questions asked at all.

Travel on AP but H4 Expired

Hi,

My wife wants to travel to india this summer we have valid AP/EAD but a expired H4. Wanted to know if you had any problems traveling thru europe.
My wife will need to catch connecting flights from UK so wanted to know if it would be safe to travel thru UK with a valid AP/EAD but a expired H4.
