Traveling issue while H1 transfer pending

My H1 transfer is still pending, but I got the receipt copy.
Could I travel outside the US and come back using the H1B visa although it shows the previous employer?

If your H-1B visa stamp (of the former employer) is valid on your passport then 'yes'.
