Traveling before interview

I expect my interview to be in February at the earliest, and more likely in June or after.

I am a resident in Canada at the moment.

I am going to the UK in October, then spending time in Mexico over December and January to avoid the harsh winter up here. Will traveling like this have any affect, or as long as I have a job and proof of funds when interview time comes I should be OK?
 
I dont think it will have any effect on your interview as long as you do not stay in any of those countries there for more than 6 months, which will mean that you will need to get police certificates from there too. My $0.02
