traveling back on valid H1 from prev employer

Hi,
I have a H1 stamp in passport valid till May 2009.I got it stamped with my previous employer.
I switched company and got H1 Xfered last month. I have new approved I797 with current employer.

I have to travel for India for a week during October end.

Can i travel back with a Valid stamp of previous employer and I797 of current employer ?

Yes, you can use your H-1B visa with previous employer's name on it until it expires. It is important to show the original Approval Notice for current employer. If a CBP officer correctly understands your situation, an I-94 that expires the same day as your current employer's petition expiration date will be issued.
