Travel with I-551 without job /Unemployment Benifits

Got my passport stamped in March. Got laid of last week. My GC is EB2 base. I am primary.
 1) Is that safe if I go back to my country for a couple of months before I find a new job? Please I need specific advise on this. I couldn\'t get the proper information about this on similar post earlier..

2) Unemployement Benifits(UEB): Do I need to apply immediatly for UEB ?.
  
3) Can I apply after I return from my home country ?

You can go to your home country for two months

But, it won\'t help.
Better sharpen your skills and search for new jobs.
Unless you have some emergency to go home, use that travel money to increase your skills and fining a new job.
