If I want to travel to India with AP. Do I need to get transit visa to fly through London or Frankfurt. I heard that transit visa is required if one does not have valid visa to USA and AP is considered is not considered to be a visa.

Can you share your knowledge or experiences on this.

Yup, you do need one. Run a search in this forum and you will find plenty of information on it. Cheers!

Does any one have a link where i may be able to read about this requirement? I don't understand what Advance parole have to do with a transit visa to London? I understand you would need one if you goinf outside of the airport but why wpuld they care about a US visa? That's not their problem....

Thanks

I don't think..

transit visa is required for UK. But it does require to travel via other European countries

I heard European countries won't give you boarding pass (any more) for changing flight, if you don't have a valid visa (not AP).

I just went to and came back from India....

via amsterdam. I didn't need a transit visa, and my status in the US is 485 pending. As long as you don't plan to leave the airport at amsterdam, you don't need the visa.

Now Germany is another matter - you might want to search on the forum for that!!
