My wife's 485 (dependent applicant) is approved 15 days ago as per online message but we did not get approval notice yet. We were planning to visit overseas and we have valid AP. Is it OK to visit overseas before her GC is received. If not when can she travel abroad i.e. after getting the approval notice, after passport stamping or after getting plastic card.

She should wait for passport stamping before she travels aboard.
It is not advisable to travel on A.P as her I-485 is approved.
Best thing would be get the passport stamped after receiving approval notice and start travel.
You do not need to wait till card arrives for travel. But you may need transit visa if you travel through some of the European countries.
