Travel while Pending H1

Hello,

I am changing VISA status from F1 to H1 and want to travel to India. My H1 application has been submitted. I was wondering that if I travel, then my I94 card will change. Would I have to refile the H1 application or it would just need to be updated?

Would this create any problems in the H1 visa processing.

I would like to know the same as well. I will be graduating with a Masters degree in May 2005. Have already received the EAD. The company I will be working for is going to apply for my H1 in May 2005.

I am exploring the option to travel to India in June/July as my employment date starts only in August.

Would like to know in such a case if traveling to India is legal? If so what are the documents that need to be carried?

Hi,
I too have similar questions. Is it a good idea to travel when one is on OPT, and when the company has applied for H-1? I am starting work on my OPT in July, my H1 application will go through late May. I would like to know if it is a good idea to travel in the interim.
