Travel While on AOS

Gurus,

I have valid visa stamp till Feb 2005. I have applied my I-485 also. I did not apply for AP or EAD. Is it ok If I travel to India and come back on H1 and my wife is on H4??

If you have valid visa stamp, you don't need AP. H1/H4 visa is god enough.
