Travel while 485 is pending.

My details.

EB2, INDIA, 485 RD 01/31/01, ND 02/07/01. FP Scheduled 10/12/01.

I have approved AP,EAD. H1 is valid upto 06/01/02 and presently working on H1 with same sponsoring company.

Due to family emergeny I need to travel to India from Nov last week through Dec Last week.

If my 485 is appoved (which is unlikely) between Nov last week to Dec last week, during which I will be in India, Will there be any problem at POE ? Any body had/heard of this kind of situtaion.

Not a problem

That is not a problem at all. As a matter of fact my wife was out of the country when her i-485 got approved. She entered US (via SFO) a week after her approval. There was absolutely no problem. The immigration officer did ask her about green card and she responded saying, "..it has been approved but I haven\'t yet gotten the stamp...". There were no more questions after that.
