I'm currently on H1B (document and stamp) valid until sept 2011.
I have my application packet ready for AOS through USC spouse and planning to send the package in a week or 2.

I wanted to travel outside US in aug-sep 2010 for 2 weeks.
1. should I apply for AP along with my AOS application? and while traveling I should enter on AP OR H1?
2. during what process, my travel will be restricted? Meaning its not possible for me to travel outside US.
a. immediately after i send my package to USCIS?
b. before/after fingerprinting?
c. before/after AOS inteview?
3. While I'm outside US and my AP/EAD/GC gets approved and i do not have any of the approved documents, how do I enter US?

Thanks in advance for response.

You can travel on your h1 status while your AOS is pending. It is a good idea to apply for AP and EAD as well (since there is no additional charge for it I think) to cover yourself for any eventuality.

You can travel with your H1B as soon as USCIS has received your I-485 application (to be sure, wait until you get the receipt or see that they've cashed the check).
