Travel ( vactio ) to Bahamas On AP.

Hi,

I would like to take the opinions to experts and people who have experienced the travel outside US. while on AP.

I'm on 7th year H1. I do not have the visa Stamping on my PP. I have 140 approved and EAD, AP with me. 485 pending since Aug 2003.

I'm planning to go to Bahamas for 4 days in May 2004, Is it fine to travel using the AP ( which I applied for my Travle for INDIA), Should Not I face any issues while reentiring US from CapCarneval, Florida.

We also did a trip to Bahamas while using AP for our return. Just carry all originals copies of AP with your passports. It was checked by US officials at Freeport Bahamas before boarding the plane. While landing in US, it was no different than any other local flight.

U need to get visa for going there. There was no problem getting it, just had to go through additional expenses, photos and the paperwork.

US currency is widely accepted everywhere. Worth the trip. Don't miss the snorkelling and the dolphin experience!
