With I-485 pending, and want to travel using AP:

1. need to surrender the latest I94 before boarding, which is the one
mentioned while filing 485, I understand I will get a new I94 when
return to US, but what if get REF asking for I94, do they want to I94
mentioned in the 485 file, or the new one will work?

2. AP will expire 11/2005, will the expiration date of the new I94 be the
same, if so, what will happen if the I94 expire, do i need to get a new
one?

OK, think about this logically, in the practical world. There are over a million pending AOS cases and each case takes months if not years to process. Do you think all of them preserve the I-94 they submitted while filling the appplication. In other words no-one travels during AOS is pending ?
Sorry for being sarcastic. But the simple answer is No, they do not want the I94 mentioned in 485, but the latest I-94. So you can give away your I-94 before boarding without worries. But do remember to take a photocopy of old I-94 for your records. You never know USCIS, they may want to see all old I-94s.

NO. Expiry date will be 1 year from date of entery. e.g. If you enter US on 3-march-2005. I-94 will be valid till 2-Mar-2006. If I-94 expires you do not have to worry. You are technically in AOS pending status and I-94 does not matter.
