travel to US with H1 transfer receipt and old visa

Hi,

I had applied for my H1 transfer in May and I quit my old company in June. I am now in India and I do have my receipt number for the H1 transfer.

With this receipt and visa stamping of my previous employer, can I travel to US and work for my new employer ?

Please this is very urgent, I am staying in India for more than 4 motnths waiting for my approval.
