I am thinking of going to Puerto Rico (or US Virgin Islands) for vacation next month. I am currently under H1B status but I don't have the visa stamp on my passport. I have the I-94 card and my expired old F1 visa. Would I get any problems coming back into the US mainland (New York) or should this be similar to traveling to Florida for example? I am assuming that bringing my passport and proof of my H1B status is sufficient but wanted to be sure.
