Hey folks,
Seems like we need to apply for a visa to Thailand with a RP and GC. I was wondering if anybody has any experience with their consulate in LA or any tips for me before I mail my application to them. How long does it take after you mail the application to receive the visa?

I got it same day when i went back in 2004 on a RTD.
 
Thanks want. You probably went in person. right? I am planning on mailing my applictaion. Do you happen to know if japan needs a transit visa because my flight will have a lay over in Tokyo.

No visa needed at that time for transiting through Japan. I went through Japan also.

But you may want to ask Japan again cuz rules change always.
