I am currently on F-1 Status. I am currently working for the University I graduated from with my OPT permit and I am planning a trip to my home, Mexico this december.
The problem is that my F-1 visa expired on may 2004. My I-20 was extended until May 2005, and my OPT work permit is also until may 2005 .
Will I have any problems on my way back? I have read on other web sites that if you travel to Mexico or Canada, it doesn't matter if your visa is expired,as long as you have a job and a valid I-20, is this true?
